Knut Lindstrom had a dream of a beautiful resort between two lakes. Because of that dream two families have made generations of families happy to call Pinehurst their vacation destination. Knut built the beautiful log octagon lodge in 1918. He sold it to Ernie Miller in 1924. Three generations of Millers made it their home. Then in 1959 the LaVoy family bought it and now the fourth generation of LaVoys will soon take over ownership.

----We have some beautiful Photos of Pinehurst on display at the Museum. You will enjoy it, so come on in and read the history of Pinehurst's 100 years.
